As the World Turns....

And I live in it. Hello to everyone out there in the internet. My name is Justin Vlahacos and this is my blog. I know it looks like nothing now, but I want it to grow and I want people to hear my ideas and discuss there own. Because you know that is the problem with the world today. Taboo. Political Correctness. I can't go outside and say something because someone else might be offended. That is a problem. The biggest hypocrite in this regard, is the USA. First of all, before anyone begins to think I'm America bashing I'm not, I'm a proud American citizen. But am I proud of how my country is run? Hell No. We claim to be a country of freedom, focused solely around the right to free speech. But I can't go out and yell at a Banker for jacking up my interest rate? I can't yell at a minority or even a majority that calls me a racial slur? I know I can and I feel I should not be persecuted for it.

But for now I digress. This is my first blog post, and I'll try to let people know more about me. I'm a college student in Maryland, I try to live my life day by day and I always try to do what I think is right by everyone. One thing I don't do is let people direct my opinion, I am very open to all opinions but no one can tell me or teach me how to think.

What I hope to get out of this blog, is simply this: I want a place to discuss my ideas and maybe have them heard. I will always take a topic of discussion from a reader, no matter how controversial. If you don't like what I have to say, tough, but I will always accept your comments on it. I want this to be a place to discuss, so I will let anyone say what they want at me.
